Yes many of you have a nice Z, congrats, but this is exactly why so many people don't come here anymore. He didn't post the pic, asking "what do you guys think of my new wing!" He asked for HELP, something that used to be readily available here on our forum. The dude wants some advice from people "that have experience with this wing." 9/10 of you that responded don't have this wing, don't want it, so why are you posting CRAP. I know Miles and several other people have had this model. If they can help, speak up, if not, then no post is needed. People posting "no matter what you do it will still look fucked up." I mean for real, what is he to say to this BS, Gee thanks, let me recommend this site to everyone that owns a 300ZX and has your exact view of the world and how to work on a car! Oops, all ten of those people already come here and post 25 times a day.
I read a post earlier by I dont remember who, but it was titled, "Look the supra boys are dissin the 300" or something like that. I remember member "none" from back in the day, very helpful guy who had done alot of work on his car. His insight that he quit coming here because of certain people ruining the forum made me a little mad at first. I enjoy this place, and when someone says something negative, I naturally get defensive. But when I thought about it, its true, we have a ruling body of about 10 Z gods that flame the living shit out of anybody on here that has a different opinion than they do. I thought it interesting that BigTTDog agreed that we have, as he called, several "asshats" at TT.Net, considering I thought he was pretty good friends with the people I consider the asshats here. Guess if you can't beat em, join em! I remember Z1Truth, he was a prominant poster on here a little over a year ago, everyone was happy for him when he got onto the Audio Mag Front cover. But the guy left here because of all the negativity and slander. At the time I didn't see it because I was here a few months. But now, I see exactly what he was talking about. The point is, and I am not trying to pick a fight, or be abusive or anything negative. I just want to express the point that this crap is what kills this forum. People should come here for insight and knowledge, and to maybe take a breather and laugh a bit with online friends. Not to have to worry about speaking their mind or asking for help because their version of a 300ZX doesn't meet the Z god standards here. To each their own, if you can't help then don't post. VTF that at the top instead of we know their is a Z in Kill Bill. Thats my rant, way too long that I wouldn't even read it, flame away boys!
Drive a TT and you'll realize that turbo should be a standard option on all cars!!! |
